Dr Polly Haste leads on the Sex Education Forum’s national training portfolio, working alongside SEF’s Senior Trainer and a dedicated team of regional associates. Polly has worked in education for nearly 20 years, designing and delivering training to teaching and non-teaching professionals on themes such as consent, LGBT-inclusive RSE and child-sexual exploitation. Alongside the national training programme, Polly also manages the Anti-HBT Bullying grant from the Department for Education and local authority contracts with East Sussex and Bexley.
Polly has a PhD in the field of Sex and Relationships Education from Goldsmiths University and has worked with research teams in the UK and abroad on issues relating to inclusion and sexual and reproductive rights.
Polly is committed to fulfilling every child’s right to comprehensive education about their body, growing up, relationships and sex. She says "no two days are the same in this job and I enjoy both the opportunities and the challenges of working at a grassroots and strategic level".
