FAQs about core membership

Is core membership the right membership for me?
Core membership is designed for organisations and individuals wanting to keep their finger on the pulse with SRE policy and practice developments. It is ideal if you have a SRE service that you would like to promote. Our core members also get involved with our national policy work.

What are the benefits of core membership?
Core members receive our fortnightly SRE news Bulletin, participate in the Network Exchange for SRE trouble-shooting, receive our termly e-magazine The Sex Educational Supplement (which looks in depth at teaching SRE), join exclusive on-line discussion events and get a 20% discount on Sex Education Forum publications.

Core members are also invited to our two annual events in London (free place for one rep per member), have voting rights and the opportunity to stand for the Adivsory Group, are involved in our policy work and listed on our policy statemements.

We promote the services of our core members by clearly listing information about you within our web-site including description, web-link, logo and email address (optional). We advertise your events, training and resources within our web-site and e-communications. You can advertise your core membership by using the Sex Education Forum 'proud to be a member' logo on your web-site.

Can core membership be shared with my colleagues?
Core membership can be taken out by an individual or an organisation for the same price. All we ask is that you don't share the resources you receive within your membership outside of your organisation. Please always respect the copyright of the materials we produce, and if in doubt just ask!
