SRE Kick-start

SRE kick-start programme

Do you need personalised expert advice to help improve sex and relationships education (SRE) in your school?

The national authority on SRE, the Sex Education Forum, is offering their services to kick-start your SRE. Ofsted have highlighted that SRE is an area of weakness in school PSHE education. This programme will be ideal for you if you rate the SRE in your school as 'average' or 'weak'.

The SRE kick-start programme includes:

  • An assessment discussion to identify priorities in your school
  • Telephone interview with the school SRE or PSHE Lead
  • Expert review of your existing SRE materials including SRE policy, communications sent to parents and scheme of work
  • Sex Education Forum report with recommended action plan
  • Follow up support by email for three months
  • Membership of the Sex Education Forum network for three years

The programme provides you with a unique opportunity to get tailored support and advice on SRE focused on making long lasting improvements.

By taking part in the SRE kick-start programme you will have clear evidence of how you are fulfilling your legal duty to promote pupil well-being and how you are nurturing moral, spiritual, cultural and social development.

The SRE kick-start programme costs £650+VAT and includes Sex Education Forum network+ membership for three years. If you want to commission this programme for several schools we are happy to discuss a bulk discount.
