This webinar is the second of a trio* of interactive online training webinars designed to help RSE and PSHE education leads and school leaders preparing to deliver statutory RSHE. In this 75 minute webinar, facilitated by Lucy Emmerson, participants will:
- Consider what constitutes sex education and how to define relationships education and sex education separately in both primary and secondary phase
- Know the requirements from Government legislation in relation to RSE definitions
- Explore how sex education might be presented and addressed in the school RSE policy
- Understand the process for operationalising the parental right to request their child is withdrawn from sex education
