Chris (she/her or they/them) is an auditor who specialises in working with clients in the public sector. She has experience scrutinising the financial statements of NHS bodies, councils and other local authorities. Chris is a part-qualified accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
Chris has a strong commitment to inclusive relationships and sex education for young people. They previously volunteered with Sexpression:UK, delivering relationships and sex education workshops at local secondary schools and colleges. As LGBTQ+ Officer at Lancaster University Students’ Union, Chris developed Union policies on sexual consent training and the inclusion of trans students and campaigned and raised funds for LGBTQ+ causes on campus.
Chris is bringing her financial reporting skills to the board to ensure the Sex Education Forum’s continued financial health and sustainability. They became a trustee in January 2025.
