Developing Expert Practice Level Course:
Sex Education Forum is offering a 90-minute deep-dive workshop into the way educators bring critical thinking skills into the classroom, facilitated by RSE expert Dr Vicky Stubbs.
We'll focus on how to support critical thinking through well‑facilitated discussion, without losing sight of safety, boundaries, or the realities of the classroom.
Together, we’ll explore what critical thinking actually looks like in RSE practice, why it matters, and how it can be developed through clear frameworks, purposeful questions, and strong facilitation. You will take part in small‑group activities using real media prompts, with opportunities to observe, practice, and reflect on different discussion approaches.
Who this course is for
RSE and PSHE leads, teachers, and educators situated in schools working directly with young people.
Sharing and reflecting on your classroom practice will be a key element of the deep-dive experience.
