Young people's RSE Poll 2019

29 November 2019

The Sex Education Forum commissioned Censuswide to carry out a poll of 1000 young people aged 16 and 17 years old.

The survey asked young people to rate the Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) they had received at school, and asked how effectively a range of topics had been covered. Young people were also asked to rate the RSE they had received from parents or carers, and how effectively they had covered the same list of topics.

A number of the questions were identical to those asked in a 2018 poll of 1000 young people,  creating a picture one year on, and with less than a year to go until RSE is a requirement in all schools in England.
