Statutory RSE- getting it right for disabled children and those with SEN

16 January 2018

In January 2018 we held our first joint conference with the Council for Disabled Children to explore the practical application of statutory Relationships and Sex Education for disabled children and those with special educational needs (SEN). The event included input from senior policy makers, including Ian Baukham (Headteacher Advisor to the DfE), school leaders, and education professionals alongside practical workshops looking at how to implement high quality SRE in education settings.

Participants received a list of RSE teaching resources for use with disabled children and those with SEN, which is also available for our members.
